We talk all our clients through our reports to ensure they fully understand the details, we analyse: Total Recipients, Successful Deliveries, Bounces, Total times email was opened, Recipients Who
Opened, Average Times Email Was Opened, Total clicks, Unique Clicks, Times forwarded, Forwarded email opens, Total unsubscribes.
Total Recipients
This is basically the size of the list of recipients you tried to send the campaign to.
Successful Deliveries
Some emails bounce back, or get blocked by email firewalls and spam filters. The "successful deliveries" is the simple deduction from the total number showing you how many of your emails actually got
through to your recipients.
Bounces
When you send a campaign, you get bouncebacks. In general, you can expect about 10% of your recipients to bounce back your message. Anything more than 10% total bounces, and you've probably got an
old or dirty list.
Total times email was opened
Your email might have been opened 1,000 times. This however could either be 1,000 people opening the email once or 1 guy opening the email 1,000 times. Therefore this statistic is very interesting
but non specific.
Recipients Who Opened
This is a more accurate statistic. It tells you how many individuals opened your campaign. So if two people opened your campaigns 500 times each, that would be 1,000 total opens. This stat would
show, "2 recipients opened".
Average Times Email Was Opened
This stat just gives you a general idea of how many times each recipient opened your campaign. It is the total opens divided by recipients who opened.
Total clicks
This is the total number of clicks your email produces. It is useful in determining how much overall web traffic your website will receive after a campaign is sent.
Recipients who clicked
This number tells you how many people clicked on some link in your campaign.
Clicks by URL
This is a highly useful statistic which tells you exactly which URLs in your email were clicked, and how many times.
Unique Clicks
This stat counts how many times your recipients clicked on links inside your email.
Times forwarded
H5 Communications can insert a link into your email campaign that allows your recipient to forward a copy of your campaign to a friend.
